Monroe School of Performing Arts

Creative Dramatics is a school-aged program using theatre games to increase self-confidence and communication skills. We use pantomime and improvisation to teach students about theatre as well as improving their self-awareness and how they relate to others.

Our teachers have degrees in theatre and education, and we go to the schools to work with students.

Creative Dramatics produces several demonstration programs and a youth musical during the year. We also run the Summer Theatre Arts Camp every summer for those students interested in learning more about theatrical singing, dancing, acting and technical production.
